Question: I live in Cowichan Lake area and I am looking to get started blacksmithing. I am not always available to attend regular meetings at the Luxton shop in Langford. Is there any local working groups that you can put me in contact with?

Answer: We recommend attending our Introduction to Blacksmithing course to everyone who wants to become a member and use our shop. Once you are able to blacksmith safely, then you can choose to access our different locations.

We have three locations that members have access to. The closest one to you would be the Duncan Forestry Museum, the other location is at Heritage Acres in Saanich, and Luxton Fairgrounds in Langford.
