Spring Member Demo

We will be hosting Fraser River Forge for our spring demo on April 13/14. It will be held at the Luxton shop. They will be in a group of four and they specialize in the traditional German working format with master and apprentice. This is a unique opportunity to witness forging done by hand with a group of smiths who know how to work together efficiently.

They will be focusing on the following.
How to move metal and sculpt it
How to make your own tools and tongs
How to dress your work with a hammer
Working with team striking
Tentative time is 8:00 am - 5:00 pm both days.
